Tennessee clowns are doing a Benadryl Like it’s candy

We understand ice bucket challenge and ghost pepper and reaper challenge. But Benadryl are you all raising idiots and morons or just plum retards.

Are you aware of a dangerous social media trend called the Benadryl Challenge. This challenge encourages young dumbass people to take large amounts of Benadryl (diphenhydramine) in order to cause hallucinations. This behavior is extremely unsafe and can be life-threatening. The challenge first came to public attention in 2020 after several hospitalizations and deaths were reported across the United States. Unfortunately, this dangerous trend continues to resurface, and it has been reported as on the rise again in Tennessee.

Warning Signs of Benadryl Overdose

  1. Extreme drowsiness
  2. Rapid heartbeat
  3. Seizures, confusion, or hallucinations
  4. Blurred vision

What Parents Can Do

  1. Talk with your child about the risks of social media challenges.
  2. Remind them that misusing medications is dangerous and potentially life-threatening.
  3. Monitor your child’s social media use and online activity.
  4. Seek medical help immediately if you suspect your child has taken too much Benadryl.

Together, we can help protect our students and prevent dangerous behaviors. If you have any concerns, please reach out to the school.

Respectfully,
