Levees Sinking 20 years after Katrina

It has been 20 years since Hurricane Katrina ripped through the lower U.S. and broke the levees in New Orleans flooding the city.

I have seen the devastating impact that the floods had on the city. I also visited five years later and saw the city still in recovery. Now we are being told the levees that were put in 20 years ago are sinking.

The floods took 2,000 lives and cost the city $150 billion in damages. After 20 years these levees are sinking causing a threat to damage the city once again if not corrected.
